Blue Canvas’ Time & Attendance system reconciles scheduling information to data generated by time clocks to verify when an employee worked. The data from time clocks, time card readers, keypads or fingerprint scanners is matched to schedules which a manager can approve prior to the time data flowing into the earning calculator. A drag and drop interface allows a user to manage unmatched punches on an exception basis. Employees using Web Punch can see their scheduled shifts as they are punching.
Once time has been approved, the earning calculator computes appropriate amounts to flow into the payroll input sheet for each employee pay calculation.
